If you’ve been reading this blog or listening to my new podcast, Impact Quantum, then you know that I am a firm believer that quantum computing age is imminent.

In fact, I’ve written about it a few times and how it may save us from another AI Winter.

Now, CERN is getting on on the action, offering a free class to developers who want to understand the complicated new field of computing.

CERN (Conseil Européen pour la Recherche Nucléaire), otherwise known as the European Organization for Nuclear Research, has launched a free online course that attempts to explain the basics of quantum computing. The first lesson aired on Friday at 10:30 a.m. CET, and future ones will happen at the same time every Friday through December 18.
