Imagine not being able to skip past the commercials of a recorded program --that defeats one of the major purposes of owning a Personal Video Recorder.
Well, some users of Comcasts HD-DVR don't need to imagine such a scenario. So far, this seems only to be a “feature“ on certain Fox shows.
If you build your own PVR, you can control what the device does and not the other way around. We should not allow the major networks to get away with these shenanigans.
