Handwriting Recogniton and Obscenties

Jay Pittman talks about the dirty words that the Tablet Input Panel knows about and won't display them as a list of choices to the user.

Turns out that George Carlin was off by about 2993 words, as Jay said that the list he collected for US English contained 3000 words.

Jay's proud of the fact that he collected such a list for Microsoft.  He's really a great speaker and adds humor to a topic you wouldn't expect it in.

Actually, I take that back. I used to have an Apple Newton, and the handwriting recognition system there was a great source of humor (and frustration).
