I'm happy to announce the innagural meeting of a new user group in Richmond geared towards more junior .NET developers.
Tonight, the ECPI Innsbrook .NET User's Group will meet for the first time and have group founder and president Kevin Israel present on “What's new in Visual Studio 2005“
From the group's website:
Welcome to ECPI Technical College Innsbrook Campus .Net Users Group. Our User Group meets every third Thursday of the month from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. We focus on beginning to intermediate level topics for discussion. Although our primary focus is developing applications with the .Net platform, we also periodically cover other topics relating to .Net such as SQL Server 2005 and BizTalk. Come by and see us!
Our usual agenda is as follows:
- 6:00pm - 6:30pm: Social Networking (Pizza and snacks provided)
- 6:30pm - 6:40pm: Announcements and Speaker Introduction
- 6:40pm - 7:55pm: Presentation including Q & A
- 7:55pm - 8:00pm: Concluding Announcements
I won't be able to attend as I have just recently moved out of the Richmond area. (More about that in another post.)
