Windows powers a lot of electronic displays, from airport terminals to large electronic billboards.
While that's good for Microsoft, it's not so good when the system throws up an error in, by nature of it being a sign, such a public place.
The Daily WTF has just such an example live from the Vegas Strip: Blue Screen of Death.
These signs should really switch to some form of Windows Embedded. I mean, does an airport terminal display really need to worry about Virtual Memory? Do guests at the Venetian really need to see the results of a virus scan?
Maybe there needs to be a new version of Windows: Windows Vista Ultimate: Billboard and Public Display Edition 2007, since there's not enough versions of Vista as it is. ;)
