&lt;p&gt;While I do miss driving on the &lt;a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Autobahn"&gt;Autobahn&lt;/a&gt;, I wouldn't dare drive my car that fast in the US.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;I don't imagine good things happen to those that drive three times the speed limit.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;The real kicker here is that my car's make and model has a &lt;a href="http://chevroletforum.com/m_32077/tm.htm"&gt;cutoff of around 105MPH&lt;/a&gt;, making it impossible to go that fast unless I tamper with the car's safety system or get a real good tailwind going downhill. &lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;It must have been some kind of glitch in the GPS unit's computations.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p align="center"&gt;&lt;a title="GPS Says What?" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/19398619@N00/2416654648/"&gt;&lt;img alt="GPS Says What?" src="http://static.flickr.com/3151/2416654648_c26d89216c.jpg" border="0"&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;With insurance companies &lt;a href="http://autos.aol.com/article/_a/star-wars-speed-trap/20060126172809990001"&gt;dreaming up schemes&lt;/a&gt; to monitor (or control) drivers' behaviors via "black boxes" equipped with GPS units, a math error like this isn't funny, it could put innocent people in jail.&lt;/p&gt;
