DualCor Tablet PC/Pocket PC Hybrid

There are a lot of interesting folks at the Tablet PC Partner Briefing and here's an amazingly cool new Tablet PC.

A company called DualCor makes this device and it certainly lives up to the company name.

It runs both Windows XP and Pocket PC on two separate processors.

But here's the best part: it will only cost $1500 when it comes out in March.

I was lucky enough to meet up with the company's CEO and get a more detailed description of his flagship product and recorded this interview on video.

I just uploaded the second episode of Frankie's Friday Flashback.

Due to a stubborn head cold and a scratchy voice, I had to cut this epsiode short.

Episode 2 weighs in at 7:47 (just like the plane).

It might just be the shortest podcast in history, but there is a suprise ending.

Frankie's Friday Flashback Web Site

My podcast show has a real web site now, complete with slick rotating 3d logo.

It also has a domain name. www.frankiesfridayflashback.com, which still needs to be configured properly to work.

The amazing thing is that I didn't have to write one line of code to get the site to work. I used a repeater and an XmlDataSource.

That was it. It's amazing how easy it is to do.

Now, all I have to do is actually produce the show, which .NET 2.0 won't do for me.

Maybe the next version. :)

Frankie's Friday Flashback Podcast Resumes

With my voice back and the project I'm working on no longer requiring 12 hour days, Frankie's Friday Flashback will resume ~~this~~ next week. ~~Hopefully, in time for the Friday AM commute. ;)~~

I did need one more week off. :)
