Before and After

Photos Below Story

In many ways, things are back to normal in Manhattan and in many ways not. In the coming days, I'm going to dig through my photos and find examples of people and places before the attack and after, but what strikes me the most is the two pictures below.

Before the attack, we were divided and worried about little things, dumb things. Since the attack, we've united and are appreciating the simple things. Patriotism and pride in America abound. Those bastards who took down the WTC will soon find out what a united United States can do.

Before

After

The building across the street the night before the attack. Garbage bags await pickup the next morning. Three weeks later, the mess is cleared and an American flag hangs where a rental advertisement once stood.
